Why It Matters

Most commercial cannabis is grown with synthetic fertilizers — ionized salts derived from fossil fuels. These fertilizers take from the earth without giving back. They bypass the soil's natural systems, kill microbial life, and create runoff that pollutes waterways. It's a one-way relationship: take, take, take.

If we believe plants are medicine, we have to ask — what energy goes into growing them? Medicine grown through depletion carries that with it. Medicine grown in living soil, in relationship with the earth, carries something different.

Living soil works the way plants have grown for millions of years. Instead of feeding the plant directly with synthetics, you feed the soil. The microbes, fungi, and organic matter do the rest. It's reciprocity in practice — and it produces flower with richer, more complex profiles.

We currently source from greenhouse and outdoor grows. Our suppliers practice living organic soil growing methods that produce high-quality, terpene-rich flower.
